Forget About It

Well now boys and girls it's all over at last and in case you haven't noticed or don't want to believe it or something let's get things straight right here and now so try and fix it firmly in your sweaty little minds that all that twentieth century stuff just has to go. All that 'we are the greatest and aren't these cornflakes great and hey gee this TV show is really great' and all that kind of STUFF is just plainly and simply part of the PAST and don't you ever forget it because no-one else is going to and it's just a question of time before everyone just slides gradually into thinking about all kinds of new stuff and that old twentieth century manner of interacting is not—I'm telling you—going to make it so listen up boys and girls because if you're too lazy or drugged up or just plain too stupid to notice the change well it is in the air boys and girls that's what I've got to say about it so next time someone asks you what you think about one of those stupid old questions JUST SAY NO and look kind of bored and do your best to make them feel as if they just farted because who the hell needs it in the end which is the main question I would like to see getting answered. Because once upon a time there was religion and sex and TV and Christ I don't know literature and art and all kinds of STUFF that people thought they cared about and thought must have some kind of influence over them and so on but that's just because they were up to their throats in the twentieth century and they couldn't even move their heads around not even one little bit to take in the surroundings and sum up the true situation which is perfectly simple if you're ready for it OK so here it comes it goes like this the MONEY MONSTER took over everything while we were busy with the cornflakes and religion and all that STUFF we thought was so important and now it just sits there and LAUGHS LIKE CRAZY when it thinks that we mostly try and pretend that there's something else maybe just as important in life or whatever it is we think in our pitiful attempts to excuse our own PATHETIC WEAKNESS in allowing ourselves to be enslaved so quickly and so easily and so effortlessly. So from now on boys and girls just face the facts and forget all that stuff that seemed so important two months ago or whenever it was you last thought about it because in your HEART OF HEARTS you KNOW that in fact you don't give a flying fuck about ANYTHING except MONEY and that's because actually what you are in case you didn't know is NORMAL. That's right you're just a normal little CASH JUNKIE and all you want is your next FIX and if you think things always used to be like that well that's where you're wrong boys and girls dead wrong because once upon a time there was no money monster and people really and truly did have all kinds of other motivations they might let into their souls from time to time even if it was just to let them run around a little before they suffocated them with their greed as usual but now oh yes it's arrived all right so let's not forget it that's all because I know you're going to be forgetting all kinds of other stuff but just picture it sitting there LAUGHING LIKE CRAZY and then you'll understand and know that there isn't anything that you as one miserable little individual can do about it except of course to JUST SAY NO which is what I think you should do when you're not too busy playing with your credit cards or whatever it is you have.
